Cancel a Duplicate Order
If a customer submitted a duplicate order and was charged twice, please follow the steps below to cancel one order and issue a refund.
1. Navigate to the Shopify app to confirm duplicate order and duplicate charge.
2. Within Shopify, select the order which will be canceled.
3. To issue the refund to the customers original payment method, navigate to the Payment app, input the Order ID and the total amount of refund.
4. Upon refund submittal, an RMA number is displayed. Please ensure to provide this RMA number to the customer for their records.
5. Refunds take 7-14 business days to be processed and reflected on the credit card statement.
